Software Developer

As a Software Developer in Boskalis’ Survey division, you will own the software life cycle for hydrographic survey tooling. You’ll translate departmental needs into practical software, then design, build, test, and document robust solutions. You’ll work with data processing and visualization, applying math and state-of-the-art techniques to deliver timely survey data. You’ll collaborate across divisions and adapt to rapid tech changes in a global, project-driven environment. This role offers the chance to shape tools used by surveyors worldwide and to grow in a hands-on, cross-functional setting.

• Identify software needs for the Survey department
• Inventory and analyze required functionality
• Design, build, test, and document software

• Bachelor in Computer Science or technology-related field
• 5–10 years of relevant software development experience
• Proficiency with Linux and C++
• Demonstrated OO information analysis, software design, development, and documentation
• Fluent in Dutch and English; strong communication
• Willingness to travel abroad for short periods
